When our friends at POC wanted to extend their business of highly innovative protective ski gear to include products for offroad/downhill bicycling they came to us for help. Having closely followed the evolution of the POC brand over the years, it was natural for us to extend their brand DNA to this new range of products.
In close cooperation with POC, we developed a number of innovative features such as elastomer protection between the moulds, visco elastic material on the shin-guards to maximize mobility and keep them in place, as well as quick-lock and self-adjusting straps. The Series was awarded both RedDot and IF Award in 2008.
POC focuses on high adrenalin, gravity sports such as skiing and downhill biking. With the mission to save lives and reduce injuries, the Swedish company has successfully developed innovative body protection.
