Our brief : To design a stylish and affordable everyday cell phone for Nokia Copenhagen development center. In close cooperation with the RD at Nokia our team was responsible for the exterior design of this handset.

The story behind the design is as simple as the result is compelling. A soft matte backside combined with a liquid front and a seam of chrome that ties it all together. Easy does it in this case. The clear liquid front flows towards the edges and provides orientation and tactile handling. Soft rubber feel backside because it fits nicely in the hand. The seam of chrome knits the front and back together and forms functions keys on the front.

Nokia is the multi-industry conglomerate that became the world leader in mobile communications. Recently the company sold its billionth mobile phone. Their mission is simple, connecting people.
