Nokia N9 + Lumia 800

We're absolutely thrilled over the new Nokia N9, and the following Lumia 800. Conceptualized, designed and project managed by Howl´s newest member Casper Asmussen. The work was done while employed at Nokia and in cooperation with the Nokia Design Team in Helsinki, but we can't help to bask a little in it's light. The N9 is a sassy, fresh spalsh of color and thought in the multitude of black smartphones. It's really a challenger.

Strategy and product design for FLIR

We've helped FLIR to develop a design strategy that will further consolidate their position as the world's leading manufacturer of thermal imaging. The strategy was then derived into a design guideline which now acts as the intellectual and visual foundation for all upcoming product development and design. The first launch out of this strategy is the FLIR E-series, also designed by Howl. Read more about the design strategy work and the E-Series camera project.

Casper Asmussen

We are pleased and excited to welcome Casper into the Howl family. Casper is educated in Lund, New York and Stockholm, with a MFA degree from Konstfack 2002. Most recently he comes from Nokia in Helsinki, where he as a Design Specialist, has been responsible for the concept and design of Nokia's top range models. His passion for graphics, product graphics and lifestyle sports deepens and complements our expertise further in these areas. Casper will devide his time between Stockholm and Skåne, where he will help us reach out to the Öresund Region.
